A great little Iranian restaurant - Khatoon Persian Restaurant in Harrow

Khatoon Persian Restaurant's Profile Photo
I last visited this lovely little restaurant located in Central Harrow with a group of friends in late April 2016. It was formerly known as Ice Fire and has evolved from a restaurant, come cafe, come desert lounge to now what is primarily a restaurant. They serve a selection of delicious Persian dishes and are very generous with their portions. The restaurant's décor is clean and simple and they have recently expanded their seating area by doing away with an old section they had at the outside which served as a cafe's seating area.

Chelow Kebab Koobideh
Their most popular dishes are sumptuous Iranian grills served with mixed plain white and fragrant saffron rice, a side salad and grilled tomato. The Chelow Kebab Koobideh is the pièce de résistance, the succulent minced lamb is so flavoursome and tender that as soon as you finish your meal you'll be planning your next visit.

There is a selection of others grills, boneless chicken, chicken on the bone, lamb fillet, chicken and lamb cubes and lamb chops. If grilled meals are not to your liking the restaurant also serves a number of other main courses such as Persian stews.

They serve a wide range of mouthwatering hot and cold starters. I personally love the aubergine based Mirza Ghasemi and the chicken Olovieh salad. The starters are eaten best with some of Khatoon's delightful Persian Naan.

Khatoon's offers a selection of yummy drinks such as mocktails, smoothies, milkshakes, fresh juices and soft drinks. If you have a sweet tooth you won't be disappointed with Khatoon's variety of deserts, including waffles and ice cream.

I would certainly recommend Khatoon's either for a meal with the family or a night out with friends.
